For investors, the Kirkland Income Fund provides high-yield fixed-income like returns with a focus on principal preservation.

Transparent and Engaged.
Every three months, all team members participate in an online company review session. This review focuses on the company’s objectives and discuss each person’s goals and successes in each work area. It also gives us a chance to assess our triumphs and identify places where we can improve. Additionally, we brainstorm together on ways we can excel further.

Commercial Mortgage Loan Processor (Long-term/Full-time Opportunity)
Remote - must be in a North American aligned time zone. The Role
The Commercial Mortgage Loan Processor ensures loans efficiently move through the pipeline and collaborates with our network of loan brokers. This position demands a strategic, client-centered, and teamwork-based approach to support a responsible lending process consistent with KCG’s dedication to risk management, customer satisfaction, and investor protection.
While procedures and processes have been set up, as part of your role you'll have the chance to help enhance, fine-tune, and advance these procedures and processes. Additionally, you will be a part of helping to identify areas where we can increase our use of AI to boost our operations, streamline processes, and reduce risks, then help bring these ideas to fruition.

What will you do?
Maintain clear, consistent communication with loan brokers and relevant parties to ensure efficient loan processing.
Serve as a contact for loan brokers, fostering strong relationships and encouraging loan submissions that align with our credit criteria.
Collaborate with the underwriting team to evaluate the viability and potential performance of loan applications.
Balance risk management with maintaining positive broker relations to safeguard the company and investors.
Request and review necessary loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Proactively identify and address potential issues in loan files and broker communications.
Handle broker interactions with patience and professionalism, even in challenging situations.
Participate in trade conferences and collaborate with the marketing team on initiatives.
Suggest updates to standard operating procedures and loan guidelines.
About You

You have at least 2 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor, commercial loans experience is an advantage.
Collegiate sports experience or military service is a bonus.

Benefits
Fully remote role with flexible hours.
12 paid days off (two work weeks + two holidays).
Health care coverage.
USD $60,000 - $84,000 base salary. First year $69,000 to $100,800 with bonus.
Annual profit sharing and performance bonus, initially targeted to 15% to 20% of base, and grow to be a significant part of your annual compensation as we grow.
