Every three months, all team members participate in an online company review session. This review focuses on the company’s objectives and discuss each person’s goals and successes in each work area. It also gives us a chance to assess our triumphs and identify places where we can improve. Additionally, we brainstorm together on ways we can excel further.

Attorney – Loan Servicing & Default Management (Long-term/Full-time Opportunity)
Remote - location open but must work in a North American aligned time zone.The Role
We are seeking an attorney with expertise in default management and foreclosure. This position demands a strategic teamwork-based approach to support responsible portfolio management consistent with KCG’s dedication to risk management, customer satisfaction, and investor protection.
While procedures and processes have been set up, as part of your role you'll have the chance to help enhance, fine-tune, and advance these procedures and processes. Additionally, you will be a part of helping to identify areas where we can increase our use of AI to boost our operations, streamline processes, and reduce risks, then help bring these ideas to fruition.

What will you do?
Actively manage maturity date outreach, loan extensions, and modifications to keep loans performing.
Draft loan modification and forbearance agreements, ensuring compliance with lending laws.
Manage borrower communications related to loan servicing, late payments, and NSF management.
Lead oversight of foreclosure cases, managing foreclosure timelines and compliance.
Transition foreclosure legal work from national firms to specialized, local attorneys in relevant jurisdictions.
Research and analysis of statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
Work with collection agencies to manage personal guarantee collections.
Conduct post-closing audits to verify recorded documents and follow up on missing records.
Suggest and submit updates to standard operating procedures and loan guidelines.
About You

3+ years of experience in foreclosure law.
Collegiate sports experience or military service is a bonus.

Benefits
Fully remote role with some flexible hours.
12 paid days off (two work weeks + two holidays).
Health care coverage.
USD $72,000 - $84,000 base salary. First year $79,000 to $100,800 with bonus.
Annual profit sharing and performance bonus, initially targeted to 15% to 20% of base, and grow to be a significant part of your annual compensation as we grow.
